Sintered SmCo

As the second generation of rare earth permanent magnet, Samarium cobalt permanent magnet is mainly made of metal samarium (Sm), cobalt (Co), copper(Cu), iron (Fe), Zirconium(Zr) and other elements. It can be divided into 1:5 and 2:17 according to material structure. It can be divided into high (BH)max SmCo, low temperature coefficient (-0.008% / : 20 ~ 200) SmCo and high temperature resistance (500) SmCo according to the performance characteristics. Due to its high magnetic properties, good temperature stability and corrosion resistance, Samarium cobalt permanent magnet is widely used in the automotive industry, energy-saving electrical, communications and other fields.

High magnetic properties

2:17 samarium cobalt permanent magnet material has high remanence and high coercivity, comprehensive magnetic properties are excellent, is widely used in rail transit, automotive industry, aerospace and other fields. At present, its (BH)max can reach 35MGOe.


Excellent temperature performance

2:17 samarium cobalt permanent magnet material has high Curie temperature (> 800), high temperature stability (αBr≈-0.035%/) and high working temperature (up to 550). Compared with neodymium magnets, it doesn’t need to add heavy rare earth to work above 200 ° C. When the working temperature exceeds 180, the (BH)max of Sm2Co17-33H material is greater than N42EH. And ultra-stable permanent magnet materials (αBr≈0%/) can be obtained by doping heavy rare earth elements. At present, it is widely used in microwave communication, precision instruments, high temperature motors and other key fields.

Excellent corrosion resistance

2:17 samarium cobalt permanent magnet material has excellent corrosion resistance, can work in a corrosive environment for a long time, it is widely used in power water conservancy, petrochemical, biomedical and other fields.
